That belief comes to life through our Apprenticeship Hall Initiative, a groundbreaking program designed to connect local talent with high-skill, high-wage careers in the telecommunications industry.

In partnership with CareerSource Hillsborough, CareerSource Florida, and the Hope Florida WIOA Program, CollabFirst is proud to offer a pathway that does not just start with a job—it starts with a purpose. Through this collaboration, candidates gain access to hands-on apprenticeship training, real-world job experience, and direct placement with employers seeking skilled professionals in fiber optics, wireless infrastructure, and broadband expansion.

With support from multiple workforce development grants, including the Hope Florida initiative, CareerSource Hillsborough and CollabFirst have created a scalable model that blends education, on-the-job training, and career placement. Our apprentices do not just learn in classrooms—they learn in the field, supported by mentors and surrounded by opportunity. This model ensures that every participant has a clear career pathway, leading to contract-to-hire roles, direct placements, and long-term employment.

Our program aligns perfectly with the CareerSource Florida mission: to empower individuals with the tools and training needed to succeed in the competitive labor market. Together, we are creating pipelines of talent for employers while helping Floridians gain credentials, confidence, and career momentum.

At CollabFirst, we are not just connecting cables—we are connecting people to purpose. Through our apprenticeship-first model, participants are gaining skills that meet the demands of the Broadband Equity Access and Deployment — BEAD — initiative and beyond. From initial training to in-field skill assessments and continued education, we are ensuring that every apprentice is job-ready, future-ready, and community-focused.
